This is dedicated to the late Professor Ssali who passed away recently.
In 1999 he helped my mother reduce her medication from 30 to 6 tablets a,day also been insulin dependent for over 30 year requiring 12mm in the morning,and 15mm in the evening.
For the past 4 year(age 73 at the time)her body started producing its own insulin, again. Due to Mariandina I believe (my mothers GP couldn't believe it she had to check 2/3 times before confirming it)I am forever grateful to Professor Ssali providing me a great insight to disease, been created by lack of nutrition this truly remarkable individual we miss him but his aim to make Marindina available to the world still lives on.
